Who We Are

Salrosa is a premium resortwear brand. It was founded by Vijay Deswal, who brings over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry. Salrosa is a US-based C Corp, with a fully integrated supply and distribution chain across India and the USA. We control every step of the process - from design and production to marketing and final delivery. All garments are manufactured in our own factory in India, ensuring consistent quality, ethical practices, and attention to detail. With direct oversight on both sides of the business, Salrosa blends Indian craftsmanship with global standards, offering beautiful, reliable, and well-crafted resortwear pieces to retailers worldwide.

 

What We Do

Our goal was never to make garments like others, but pieces of art, culture, and care. So we chose handblock printing. It is a traditional Indian textile printing technique. Designs are hand-carved onto wooden blocks by skilled artisans. Natural dyes are made using earthy, organic ingredients. The fabric is stretched tightly on long printing tables. Artisans dip blocks into dye and press them by hand. Each print is aligned with patience and precision. After printing, fabrics are dried under natural sunlight. Every piece is slightly different & always unique.

 

We don’t just sell dresses. We are building long-term relationships with the people who believe in us.

 

Growing with Purpose

From the moment we stepped into our first exhibition at MAGIC New York, something clicked. Buyers connected not just with our clothes, but with our story. One show led to another. With each exhibition, Salrosa kept growing - store by store, relationship by relationship. Today, we book our stalls two seasons in advance. That’s how much people love our dresses.

 

In just 2 years, we found our place in 150 stores across the USA. This didn’t happen overnight. It came from staying true to our values. Uncompromised quality, timeless designs, and deep respect for craft set us apart. Our retailers keep coming back for our craftsmanship, vibrant colors, lasting quality, and perfect fits.

 

Bhumika Deswal, a NIFT graduate and wife of Vijay Deswal, joined Salrosa in 2025. She brings with her 20 years of industry experience. For the past 10 years, she successfully ran her own garment factory, producing high-quality private label collections for an international brand. Together, we now lead Salrosa with a shared vision and deeper strength.

But we’re not just here to make beautiful clothes. We’re deeply committed to sustainability, ethics, and empowering women and workers. We take pride in creating opportunities that uplift and support our workers. Our fabrics are made with natural dyes, sustainable fibres, and zero waste. Salrosa also operates as a minimal-waste brand, trying to repurpose what otherwise would be lost, in our way of honouring every inch of fabric, the artisans, and the effort that went into it.

After making our mark in the U.S., we set our sights on going truly international. That journey led us to Australia, where our clothing, colors, and craft were embraced with open arms. There was something deeply special about seeing our artistry connect with people across the world. With every new step, we’re not just growing, we’re planting roots. And now, with steady momentum and support behind us, we’re working toward our next big dream, opening our very own flagship store in the USA. It’s in progress, and it’s only the beginning.

In just two years, the brand crossed $2 million in revenue, is growing 40% year over year, and continues to reinvest every dollar into the dream. Salrosa stands for more than fashion. And we believe the best chapters are still ahead.
